Salem State University is seeking adjunct professors with interest and experience teaching German. Teaching assignments will include German cultures, grammar, vocabulary, and conversation. 

The person who fulfills this job will need to teach a section of GER 101 during the fall 2020 semester. The section will be taught online using Canvas and Zoom. It is scheudled for Wednesdays and Fridays from 12:15pm until 1:30pm.

Required Qualifications:

• Master's degree
  
• Teaching experience in German
  
• Demonstrated commitment to collaboration and collegiality
• Demonstrated commitment to teaching, supervision, and advising
• Strength and potential for excellence and leadership in community engagement and university services

Preferred Qualifications:

• Appropriate terminal degree
• College-level teaching experience, at both the undergraduate and graduate levels
• Experience teaching a multicultural population
